Huevos Rancheros
Huevos Rancheros

I was a huge fan of this place, mostly for its service, but also for the solid food. We went for brunch on a Saturday and had reservations, though I’m not sure it was entirely necessary. Everyone is very polite and accommodating. There are a few complimentary bread options to start. I asked for two pieces and they immediately obliged.

Huevos Rancheros – a crispy tortilla with scrambled eggs, chili salsa, guacamole, cheese, and beans. This was a hearty meal with great flavors. I would recommend this if you’re feeling like a bit more substance.

Egg-white Omelette
Egg-white Omelette

Egg white omelette – this is from their superfood menu, which by the way, is a hugely appealing draw of this place for me. The egg white omelette was a good, not great, egg white omelette and came with spinach and tomato. The second I started eating, though, I noticed a small hair on the outside of the omelette, which was certainly not mine. When I brought this to our server’s attention, he immediately apologized and ordered a new one to be brought right away. But not only that, he said he would bump it up in the preparation line, so I wouldn’t have to wait long, and he offered to keep our other entrée warm, so that we could eat both entrees at the same time without one getting cold. Within 5 minutes, I had a brand new omelette and they didn’t just keep the other entrée warm, they remade it entirely fresh.

Christopher's (3)Sometimes those little gestures more than compensate for any lack in taste. Ambiance is nice, though formal. I’d go back for brunch or perhaps for another meal even.
