This coffee shop is part of 3 shops in the same company as Brick Lane Coffee. Its name, however, has apparently caused controversy and they were court-ordered to change the name and remove their signage, so it seems at the moment there is no shop name displayed outside. Nonetheless, you’ll know you’re there.

I love the attitude and vibe of this place. It’s laid-back with charm and character. There are plenty of comfortable seats, it’s easy to stay a while, particularly if you’re in need of free wifi. They have a full line of hot beverages in addition to fresh smoothies, pastries, and sandwiches.

Admittedly, I didn’t try much there – just a flat white. But it wasn’t really a good flat white and it was served at a temperature that is somewhere between room temperature and cool. I don’t know why. It seems as though they don’t pay too much attention to preparation as it seemed a bit sloppy and rushed. It tasted fine otherwise, but nothing special.

I’m not sure that you’d go here for the superior quality coffee (though this could’ve been a one-off), but more so for a casual place to hang out for a while. Workers are friendly, but it still is a pretty important thing to be good at your stated specialty.
