The Imperial

The Imperial (3)
Avocado Toast

Located in Fulham very near to Chelsea Stadium, The Imperial can get quite crowded on match days. We had wanted to go for brunch for a while, but on weekends when it is a game day, the breakfast menu is only served until 12 pm, which is too early for our idea of brunch. On non-game days, the breakfast menu is served until 2 pm, and it took some time to find a day to go that wasn’t a game day, but we finally did!

The Imperial is a really nice space, located on a quiet street. It’s open and multiple stories. There is also a small terrace in the back. On the ground floor dining room, there is a partially open kitchen, so you can see the chefs at work. The entire staff crew was really pleasant and accommodating throughout our visit. We ordered the avocado toast and the egg-white omelette and both were prepared exactly as we requested and were delicious.

The Imperial (1)
Egg-White Omelette

Avocado Toast – crushed avocado and lemon, grilled tomato, and grilled halloumi on sourdough toast. Not a huge portion, but the addition of halloumi makes it more substantial than most avocado toasts. The avocado was very fresh and the ingredients were well seasoned and flavorful.

Egg-white Omelette – egg whites with spring onion, herbs, and sourdough toast. Loved the addition of the spring onion and herbs, very flavorful, great texture, and was complimented nicely with the toast.

The Imperial (2)I would highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area whether it’s for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. The food is great quality and fresh, and the environment is lovely with great staff.
